What is Domestic Violence?

Domestic violence is considered any action or behavior used to control another person. Includes negative comments, name calling, bodily harm, withholding necessities such as food or drugs, sexual assault, job interference, intimidation

Physical assault may be a criminal act and includes pushing, hitting, shoving, forced sexual acts and stalking

Emotional, mental, and financial abuse are not considered criminal acts, although these forms of abuse are intended to dominate and control another person.

What Should you do?
